Welcome to Job Doctors Surgery
This aim of this project is to raise awareness of mental health as prevention is always better than cure. The more people that acknowledge the importance of acknowledging mental health, the more lives will be saved. The project will hopefully prevent further misery for the millions that suffer unnecessarily at the hands of people who do not see the importance of things that are invisible.
Could we unwittingly be being conditioned to be even more visual that we already are as human being because we happen to be living in this period of time?
As we know most human beings react well to visuals and it is definately the digital era, more and more companies now marketing their brands by amazing captivating visuals, competing with each other to get better, m millions of consumers that are left wanting more and more.
COVID-19 times has proved there is definitely a percentage of people that live in all of our communites that clearly struggle to understand and acknowledge things that you cannot see. Whether it this be due to intellect, disability or even just a narrow minded attitude, making mental health impossible to ignore in this way is quite possibly the first time many would have had the chance to have to acknowledge mental health and hope also to encourage the conversations to change attitudes.
We are appealing for creative people to submit their interpretation of mental health through painting, drawing, sketches, photography or however you want to interpret/communicate mental health is entirely your artist right! As long as it does not offend, every submission will be featured in an online virtual art gallery available for the general public to view.
All the top voted entries win prizes and will get an opportunity for their talent to be showcased within the community(to be confirmed) helping to make mental health visual and present in society.
