Mark created his first chat bench in memory of Tommy Thwaites a young man who took his own life in November 2019 after a homophobic attach left him with severe mental health issues. The story resonated so much Mark decided to create the fist bench in his memory.

Mark Allan was nominated and voted to be a finalist at the Southwark Business Excellence Awards for Entrepreneur of the Year. The judges commended Marks story of how he overcame so many barriers when he started his own business. Mark gives his thoughts on the nomination.
